The Project

Off the success of our 2017 event Havana Club 7 Rum asked us to level-up Little Havana and this time bigger and badder expanding into in JHB, First Thursdays. With rum becoming the new up and coming drink, we needed to immerse the audience in the spirit of Cuba, bring to life the taste and feel of Cuban rum in a unique and impactful way.

The Solution

All Roads Lead to Little Havana

From concept to execution, we expanded our event and took over First Thursdays once again in Johannesburg an Cape Town… We brought the colour, culture and magic of Cuba to life through a more immersive Havana Club 7 event, and enhanced the Cuban experience. We implemented a digital passport that allowed consumers to go to local bars in the vicinity where they would learn to salsa, speak Spanish, play dominoes and indulge their senses.

We even had vintage American era cars transporting them inbetween and each experience got them a stamp which got them into the main event – Little Havana. Here, the audience sipped exclusive cocktails and danced the night away swaying their hips to the rhythm of Cuba.
